Our Commitment

BRΛYK Group LLC believes that the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. Our mission is to connect every student to real opportunity — and that commitment to access extends fully to how we build this website. We actively work to make joinbrayk.com usable by people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We use semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, descriptive alt text, and keyboard-navigable interfaces as baseline practices across all pages.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard referenced by most accessibility laws and regulations in the United States, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act as applied to websites. Our primary brand palette — obsidian (#111111) on ivory (#F8F6F2) and green (#00C97B) on obsidian — has been evaluated against WCAG AA contrast requirements.

Known Limitations

We are aware of certain areas that are still being improved. These include ensuring that all interactive components — including pill selectors and animated elements — are fully keyboard and screen reader accessible; providing text alternatives for any future video or audio content; and completing a formal third-party accessibility audit as the site grows. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time effort, and we update our practices as the site evolves.
